Upcoming and Announcements

The Way of the Cross for Children, Friday, April 18 at 3:30 p.m.
Children and Youth are invited to join in a family friendly service of “The Way of the Cross for Children” on Good Friday.  Beginning in the church, the children will process informally through age appropriate Stations of the Cross both inside and outside the church.  They will have the opportunity to interactively learn about the events of Jesus’ Passion: touching a crown of thorns, tasting vinegar, carrying a cross.  The service will last about an hour.   If you have any questions, please be in touch with Gabriela Montequin or Mother Dure.

Great Vigil of Easter – BYO-Bell and Dessert
There are two ways you can contribute to making this Easter particularly joyful! First, the Easter Vigil contains the most climatic moment in the church year, immediately following the Easter Acclamation that Christ is Risen! the liturgy is punctuated by a joyful outburst of music from the organ heralding this supreme proclamation of the year.  This so called “great noise” is usually accompanied by the ringing of bells.  This year we invite the entire congregation to participate in making this great noise of God’s praise by bringing your own bell to ring at the Easter Vigil during the time of the great noise.  Please join in this wonderful tradition. Secondly, parishioners are invited to bring a dessert to share following the Vigil. The parish will provide celebratory beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and we hope you will bring sweet treats!

Modified Parish Office Schedule, Monday, April 21
The Parish Office will be closed on Monday, January 21, in observance of Easter Monday. There will be Low Mass at 10 a.m., but no other liturgies or programming.

Season of Stewardship 2024

Saint Mark’s Stewardship Committee is thrilled to invite you to embark on a unique and meaningful pilgrimage of faith this stewardship season. The pilgrimage will center around intentional prayers for Saint Mark’s: its place in our lives, our neighborhood, the church, and the world, and how we can be good stewards of its legacy and future.

Plan to join us in making a financial commitment to Saint Mark’s.
